The business

Pagosa Adventure Rentals offers self-guided riding around Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The owner runs the Pagosa operation himself and splits his time between two pickup locations. Guests need to choose a suitable trail and machine before making a reservation.

The real problem

Group size alone does not decide which rental fits. Some trails have width limits; others require expert experience, a particular machine or a trailer. Pickup instructions also differ between the in-town trailer yard and the private ride-out location. The rebuild needed to make these choices understandable without replacing the existing reservation system.

My responsibility

Design and build of the replacement website, migration of the existing content and photographs, revisions with the owner, and launch on the business's existing domain.

  • ResNexus stays the source of current rates, availability and reservations.
  • The private ride-out address is shared with reserved customers, not published.
  • Trail descriptions explain suitability; they do not promise current conditions.

What was built

The solution, in modules

01

A route-first homepage

Five routes lead the page, with difficulty, access and machine restrictions together. Visitors who have not chosen a trail can start with their group size instead.

02

Pickup instructions for two locations

Separate guidance explains towing from the in-town yard and starting at the private ride-out location, including hours and when to call the owner.

03

Booking through ResNexus

Availability links open the existing booking system. The website helps guests prepare; current pricing, reservations and payments remain in ResNexus.

04

Static pages and mobile controls

Astro pages run on Cloudflare Pages. Mobile navigation and expandable route details keep the longer trail guidance usable on a smaller screen.
